AI implementation consultancy

From an AI use case to a workflow your team can run

Indexify builds scoped AI workflows, automations and internal tools around real work. You get clear inputs, tested checks and a handover, with a named owner and a practical support plan.

Worked example

Illustrative implementation: a checked monthly report

A team repeatedly combines exports, checks totals and writes commentary. This is a sample scope, not a claim about a named client result.

  1. 01

    Agree the inputs

Name each source, reporting period, definition and reviewer. Reject a report when a required source is missing.

  2. 02

    Build and test

Combine the approved inputs and produce a draft with traceable figures. Test missing periods, mismatched totals and a failed connection.

  3. 03

    Accept and hand over

Compare preparation and correction effort with the baseline. Have another operator run the workflow before accepting the handover.

The acceptance record should show what was tested, what still needs review and who owns the next run.

Working method

A controlled route from need to useful adoption

The work starts with a specific need, moves through clear boundaries and practical testing, and only scales when the evidence supports it. 01 Need 02 Boundary 03 Test 04 Adopt evidence review

Who does the work

Jon Goodey, founder of Indexify

Jon scopes the work and does it. His background spans software development, statistical analysis and marketing intelligence, so the person who finds the problem is also the person who can fix it.

There is no hand-off between sales, strategy and delivery. You deal with Jon from the first conversation to the final check.

Scope

What the work covers

The scope follows your organisation and the problem you need to solve. These are the areas the work usually covers.

01

Scope one complete workflow

Follow a real task from input to reviewed output. Agree its owner, baseline, data sources and acceptance criteria before choosing a model or integration.

02

Connect approved sources

Assess access, data quality and the systems your team already supports. Use representative or redacted material first, with explicit permission boundaries for any live connection.

03

Build the useful part

Configure the workflow, automation or internal interface. Use fixed rules for repeatable steps and AI for tasks that need interpretation, extraction or drafting.

04

Test failures as well as success

Challenge missing sources, conflicting figures, unexpected inputs and unavailable services. Define when the workflow stops, asks for review or falls back to a manual method.

05

Hand over ownership

Document the inputs, checks, access and recovery steps. Practise the workflow with the intended operator, including the exceptions they will need to handle.

06

Review before expanding

Compare the pilot with its baseline. Decide whether to maintain, improve or stop it before extending access or automating more of the process.

How the engagement works

  1. 1

    Discovery and decision

Confirm the problem, available evidence and prerequisites. If the case is unclear, begin with a readiness audit.

  2. 2

    Specification and build

Agree what is included, what stays manual and how the result will be accepted. Build against that specification.

  3. 3

    Pilot and acceptance

Run representative work through the full journey with a named reviewer. Record corrections and remaining limitations.

  4. 4

    Handover and support

Give your team the operating instructions and agree responsibility for usage costs, maintenance and future changes.

What you take away

  • Workflow specification and acceptance criteria
  • Configured pilot and agreed integrations
  • Test results and known limitations
  • Operating instructions and recovery steps
  • Team handover and support responsibilities

Questions buyers ask

What does an AI implementation consultant deliver?

A scoped workflow that has been built, tested and handed over, with its specification, acceptance evidence, operating instructions and known limitations. The deliverable may be an automation, reporting process, internal tool or document workflow.

How is implementation different from AI strategy?

Strategy helps choose where to invest. Implementation turns an agreed use case into a working process with inputs, integrations, review and ownership. Our AI consultancy service can establish the strategy before a separate implementation scope is agreed.

Do you act as an AI automation agency?

Indexify provides hands-on AI automation and integration work within an agreed scope. We begin with the business process and the systems you can support. We do not assume that every task needs AI or that a pilot should have unrestricted access.

Can you integrate with our existing tools?

We assess the available APIs, connectors, permissions and support arrangements during discovery. A tool name alone is not a promise that every integration is available. The proposal identifies the connections included and any prerequisite access or licence.

How much does implementation cost?

Published AI set-ups start from £1,500 plus VAT, with ongoing support from £350 a month and tool usage charged separately. Discovery, integrations, testing and support are scoped explicitly. A complex or sensitive workflow needs a proposal rather than the starting price.

Will the workflow run without a person?

Only where the scope and risk justify it. Drafts, consequential actions and exceptions can retain human review. Acceptance includes the failure behaviour, rather than only a successful demonstration.
